The Porsche 911S 3.0 is already a seriously fast car straight from the factory. Twin-turbocharged flat-six, rear-engine layout, decades of motorsport engineering behind every component. And yet — even this machine left the factory with power held back in reserve. Our Stage 1 chip tuning extracted that reserve with surgical precision, delivering gains that are immediately felt without touching a single mechanical part.
The Numbers
Both the stock and tuned runs were measured back-to-back on our certified VT Dyno 6.4 dynamometer — the green curve is the factory map, the red is post-remapping. Stock figures came in at 460.0 BHP @ 6505 RPM and 588.3 Nm @ 3650 RPM. After Stage 1 performance chip tuning, those climbed to 507.7 BHP @ 6582 RPM and 665.3 Nm @ 3748 RPM — a gain of +47.7 HP (+10.4%) and +77 Nm (+13.1%). On a car already producing 460 horsepower from the factory, those are substantial, real-world numbers — and the torque improvement across the mid-range makes the car feel transformed on the road.
How It Was Done
High-performance cars demand a higher standard of chip car tuning. The margin for error on a Porsche flat-six is far smaller than on a mass-market engine, which is exactly why we never use plug-in race chip solutions or pre-made maps on cars like this. The 911S ECU was read, fully analysed, and rewritten using tuning files written specifically for this engine variant, this mileage, and this car's measured baseline — not a recycled racechip tune pulled from a shared database.
Our chip and tune methodology starts with the dyno run in stock form, giving us a precise picture of where the engine chip is holding power back and where the factory calibration is being conservative with boost, ignition timing, and fuelling. From there, the ECU map is modified parameter by parameter — not a blanket adjustment, but a targeted rewrite that respects the mechanical limits of the engine while unlocking everything the turbochargers were already capable of delivering.
Stage 1 tuning chip for car applications at this level means the result is stable, repeatable, and safe for daily use. No increased wear, no adverse emissions impact, no issues passing technical inspection. The chip car modification is entirely software-based — fully reversible, and invisible to a standard diagnostic scan.
